Leading up to Lebron’s “homecoming” as the Heat face the Cavaliers tonight in Cleveland, a group of Cav fans and Lebron loyalists have launched a “Come Home Lebron Campaign” geared towards luring the Akron, Ohio native to return to his former team next year when he becomes a free agent.
The campaign is the brainchild of Josh Raggi, a 24-year old Cleveland native, who was originally inspired by the crazed fan who stormed the court last time Lebron played in Cleveland’s Quiken Loans arena, includes it’s very own T-shirt -which will be handed out before tonight’s game- a website, twitter and even a huge billboard (picured above) right across from LeBron’s alma mater, St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. Talk about desperate. Like most, I doubt Lebron is coming back, but all this can’t hurt Cleveland’s chances at bringing “the King” of the NBA back to his original throne.
