THE “BIG THREE”
Miami Heat. Oklahoma City Thunder. Game 5. Are you ready?
Bosh brought the intensity and hustle tonight.
Pretty much sums it up…..
Bosh might play for the Heat now, but he’ll always be a Raptor.
As the whole sports world countinues to focus on the Knicks and Jeremy Lin, let’s just continue to ignore the Miami Heat. That’s probably how they like it. It’s a big departure from the hype of last year, but their play isn’t any different. Actually, it’s much better. Right now, the Heat are not only the hottest team in the NBA, (along with the Spurs) but they also have the best record. Their current win streak is at 7, all of which have been double digits.
If that doesn’t impress you, keep in mind Wade and Lebron are having the best seasons of their careers. Wades been shooting above 50 percent the past 11 games (a career best), and, personally, looks more explosive than I’ve seen in the past two years. Lebron, well, he’s just being typical Lebron: flirting with a triple double seemingly every night. Meanwhile, Bosh is close to averaging a double double himself (and he’s not even an All-Star starter). Then there’s Norris Cole, who’s been one of the best rookies this year.
Let the Heat continue to go under the radar during the regular season. It’s not like it matters much. I assume they’re looking forward to nothing other than a title anyways…..that and maybe DESTROYING the Knicks this Thursday and ending what’s left of “Linsanity”. That should get them noticed though.
