Expect another failure for Lebron. Assuming the NBA isn’t rigged like they were during the playoffs, Boston should win tonight. They have the better team hands down. Lebron will have a huge game though, probably something like: 26 PTS, 12 REB, 9 AST, 2 BLKs, and 3-8 from 3.
Keep your eyes on the officials. I know Garnett will.
haha, I know that I can be the biggest Kobe hater sometimes, but honestly I cant see him leading his team to a Championship; not after how he looked during the preseason. Not to mention, during last years finals he played horrible (by his standards). I doubt he can play at the level he did even last year, which wasnt enough to get MVP or LEAD THE LEAGUE IN SCORING. He looks old and all his new injuries aren’t helping. This season will be tough cause everyones getting younger and better. Mentally he always has the edge though.
This is Kobe’s last chance to get a title cause after this its probably all Miami or whoever. He knows this. He can also equal Jordan (this wont happen) if he gets 1 more. Thats probably his greatest incentive or motivation but does he have it in him? Tonight maybe he will prove me wrong but I doubt it. Look for Gasol to lead the team.
Along with Golden State, probably the most exciting teams for me this season are the Thunder and Bulls. I can’t watch every game but whenever these teams are on I’ll make time. Both made the 8th seed last year and proved they can be a real treat to the best teams in the league. Both have young superstars ready to have a breakout season.
Speaking of Curry, him and Monte are the best back court in the NBA. At one point I thought Monte should be traded but I see now they can actually work well together. At least one of them will be an all star this year. I say they will make the playoffs……I hope
Its really a toss up between these two, but I’ve been saying Wall will be ROY for over a year and I’ll stick with it. I even said Curry would be ROY over Griffin last year before he got hurt. Curry still should’ve been ROY last year by the way.
I have a couple of posts to put out there before opening night. If you’ve ever been to HB forums, then you already know my NBA predictions are usually on point (give or take a few lol) and when it comes to basketball, I speak my mind first and think later. Naturally, some of these predictions may come back to haunt me but there’s no turning back now. I gotta get some things off my chest. First off, just to make it clear:
